Mike Umbro co-founded FieldView and currently serves as Managing Partner.

Prior to FieldView, Mike specialized in sourcing acquisition targets at a boutique investment bank in La Jolla, California. Mike specifically focused on the launch of an oil and gas private equity fund. He also spent time sourcing deals in a variety of sectors for strategic buyers and private equity firms. Prior to his investment banking experience, Mike spent time as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and an equity trader at Evolution Capital.

Mike enjoys playing an active role in the community and continues to do so as a member of the Del Mar/Solana Beach Rotary club. Mike has been involved in the club for over 10 years.

Mike graduated from Pepperdine University, earning his B.A. in economics with a minor in marketing. He also served as Vice President and President of The Sigma Chi Fraternity, whose efforts were dedicated to raising money and awareness for The City of Hope.
